Credit Card
To ensure that your credit card won't be the financial death of you, we have researched, compiled, and added a few very important tips that we recommend committing to memory. We can't guarantee that you will never face fiscal problems or bad credit - no one can guarantee that - but we can definitely say that you are less likely to run into walls with our advice.
First of all
The very first tip we can give you is to shop around. When it comes to shopping for a credit card, you should always look for cards that offer you the most rewards. And this is not something to be taken lightly. This can shape or ruin your future so be cautious and look for the credit card that treats you best.
Secondly
Always read the fine print. We see it all the time with people that get caught off guard by their credit card debts. People are forced into debt because they toss out anything that is not a credit card bill. That's when you get the unpleasant increases or changes in introductory APRs and such. Avoid credit card debt by always being prepared. We urge you to read every single paper, leaflet, promotion, and email that your credit card company sends you so that you can always expect the unexpected.
Lastly
Perhaps the most important thing about your credit card is the amounts you pay back. In order to prevent a financial disaster in the future, and in order to look good in your creditors eyes, we urge you to pay more than the minimum each month. In fact, pay as much as you possibly can. Most people are caught off guard by interest rates and that's were the problem resides. Don't get caught off guard. Make timely and substantial payments to avert fiscal disasters in the future.
